If you need to remember how to use BookCreator, watch the Tutorial on BookCreator:

Then create a BookCreator with your group on the iPad. Each of you will add a page with a photo of your MASK and audio explaining your Mask and the Character you played.
USE THE WORKSHEET TO GET YOUR IDEAS READY!


Your Job:
  1. You will create an Audio Book in the App, BookCreator about your "Many Ways to Tell a Story" Mask and Character.


CHOICE 2

iMovie Trailer

  • If you forget how to make a trailer, watch the Tutorial on how to make an iMovie Trailer
  • FIRST:
    YOU WILL PLAN BY USING THE "STORYBOARD" PLANNER THAT GOES WITH YOUR "flavor' OF iMOVIE TRAILER

  • Then create an iMovie Trailer with your group about the "Many Ways to Tell a Story" project. You will use the photos and video on the iPad. You HAVE TO WRITE THE TEXT! Don't forget to change the "actors" and "production" names to your groups' names.
    You will then learn how to put DIFFERENT MUSIC to your trailer (again, using the music on the iPad). Mr. S will help you do this.
Your Job:
  1. You will create an iMovie Trailer with your group about the "Many Ways to Tell a Story" project. 
  2. You will find appropriate music to compliment the trailer.
  3. You will fade the music at the end of the trailer with the help of Mr. S.
  4. You will publish the Movie Trailer and give to Mr. S.

CHOICE 3 

Student Activities: Photo Manipulation and Cinquain Poetry
Your Job:
  1. Learn how to take pictures on the iPad Mini.
  2. You will learn how to "digitally manipulate" the photo with PicsPlay Pro.
  3. You will create a Cinquain Poem to accompany your image.
  4. You will publish it on the "Many Ways to Tell a Story" Padlet Wall.

  • Then explore iMovie with your group on the iPad and make a quick Trailer (about anything)!

  2. You will make a sample trailer in order to get ready to make a trailer later about your "Many Ways to Tell a Story" project.

  1. You will create an Internet Safety Poster in Comic Life showing an understanding of our 3 Main Internet Safety Rules:

  1. Always tell an adult (when you go online). 
  2. Don't go and meet anyone in person that you meet on the Internet.
  3. Never give out personal information. 

• You will use the following Image Sites:



• You will learn how to use Comic Life to make the poster with a partner.
• You will know what to do if they come to a Bad Site.
• You will learn how to use the COMMAND key to copy an image off the web.
• You will learn how to use the COMMAND key and TAB key to switch back and forth between Applications.
• You will learn how to EXPORT your Poster to iPhoto.


• Each Poster should have the following:
  • Your First Names
  • Your Class (example: 3C)
  • The Rule
